John,

I won’t mince words. The “war on drugs” and anti-cannabis laws are – and have always been – racist and anti-immigrant. These policies contributed to mass incarceration and have torn Latino and Black families apart, generation after generation.

Last month, I was proud to vote to pass the MORE Act in the House to undo this damage – by decriminalizing cannabis, expunging federal cannabis-related convictions, and establishing assistance for cannabis small businesses.

Now, I’m asking you to stand with me and demand the Senate pass this critical legislation. Add your name >> [[link removed]]

The MORE Act is an important step forward toward racial justice, and I won’t stop fighting until we see the wrongs of the past made right. Are you with me? [[link removed]]

Thank you,
Chuy
