This morning, we started running our first TV ad against Chuck Grassley.

I know Election Day might feel a long way away, but if we’re going to win, I need to introduce myself to voters now – before Mitch McConnell’s Super PACs begin attacking me and lying about who I am and what I stand for.

It’s a risk to begin calling out the far-right Republicans first, but we need to get going. It is time to defeat Chuck Grassley and turn Iowa blue.

In order to keep our new ad up, we have to raise $32,692 a day – but I’m not taking a dime of corporate PAC money. So unless we want to have to take our TV down, I’m counting on grassroots donors like you to give now.

Please, will you give $5 or more right now – whatever you can afford before midnight tonight – to help me defeat Chuck Grassley, turn Iowa blue, and protect our Democratic Senate majority? The polls show we can win, but Senate control will be decided here in Iowa, so we cannot afford any mistakes.

No one likes how expensive political campaigns have become – especially not me. But Grassley and McConnell are raising millions from corporate PACs and special interests to come after me.

We have to be ready to fight back.
