John,

I’m going to get straight to the point. Here’s why it’s critical that I have your support today:

- We’ve made tremendous progress in Maine since I first took office three years ago – like expanding health care, strengthening our economy, or keeping the people of Maine safe during a global pandemic.
- But here’s the catch. This is a toss up race because Maine’s elections have always been competitive. What we do today will prove to be crucial to our chances of winning this November.
- My opponent is running for an unprecedented third term. We can’t let him win and lose all of our hard-fought progress.

With so much at stake, it’s crucial that we keep up our momentum as we get closer and closer to the election. That’s why I’m turning to supporters like you.

I’m asking you to make a contribution to my campaign to help win this race. Your donation of $15 or whatever you can give today will be critical to keep Maine moving forward.
