John -- Conservative map manipulators have a history of undermining the will of the people. But this redistricting cycle, they’ve taken it one step further: ignoring democratically instituted reforms to lock in power.
FIRST: Before the 2021 process, voters and local organizations in states like Ohio, Florida, and Utah, worked tirelessly to bring redistricting to the forefront and proposed ballot initiatives to reform the process.
THEN: Voters responded! Amendments in each of these states passed with a majority to encourage fairness in map-drawing and limit partisan gerrymandering.
NOW: Conservative map drawers in states like Florida and Ohio want to ignore these now constitutionally mandated redistricting reforms by passing maps that give Republicans an unfair advantage in order to maintain their power.

Despite conservative politicians' determination to overrule their constituents in favor of political power, voters in these states have not given up. They understand that we can’t back down when powerful interests try to subvert the will of the people and that they must be held accountable.
Voters supported by All On The Line and other fair map advocates have challenged gerrymandered maps or demanded fair ones in Ohio, Florida, and Utah, as well as other states across the country.
Some maps in Florida and Ohio are still not finalized, meaning we still have a chance to deliver fair maps to the voters that worked so hard to institute these reforms.
