Friend, I only have a few seconds, so I’ll make this quick.

I was born in Jacksonville, Florida just three years after the Supreme Court ended school segregation. Growing up in the South as a poor, Black female was challenging to say the least – but I was driven by faith and my parent's instructions to “Never tire of doing good.”

And that’s why I’m running for Senate now – because I know there is so much good I can do for Florida’s working families. Recent polls show that I am RAPIDLY closing the gap between Marco Rubio and me, but I can’t surge ahead without your help.
