Come Join Us At the CAGOP Convention, and Stop By Our Saturday Night Mixer!

We are pleased to announce that on April 22nd to April 24th, the California Republican Party will be having its convention right here in Orange County, at the Anaheim Marriott!

Convention is the best opportunity to connect with fellow activists and Republican leaders all over California, meet fellow Young Republicans from up and down the state, attend helpful workshops, breakout sessions and panel discussions, and join us for some of the evening reception events.

There will also be special events at added cost featuring prominent elected officials and keynote speakers, such as Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California.

In addition to these exciting opportunities, Young Republicans will also be hosting two events on Saturday. The first meeting will be the CA Young Republicans Federation General Meeting at 10:15 AM, where we will have some special guest speakers, and go over our goals and priorities as an organization.

We will also be having our Saturday Night Afterparty at 9PM at Room Platinum 5 in the Marriott. Whether you're here for the whole convention or you'd like to stop by for a Saturday night with fellow YRs, get ready for a special night of drinks, networking, and hearing from some special guest speakers!

Featured Friday Night Events!

In addition to the Young Republican events that were featured for Saturday, we also have some exciting events that we wanted to feature for this Friday night!

First, we will be having one of the most anticipated events at each CAGOP Convention, Shawn Steel's Cigar Social! This event is an excellent networking opportunity, and will be in honor of Congresswoman Michelle Steel, and College Republicans. We will definitely recommended stopping by the event and saying hi to fellow YRs. Pick up a cigar if you like cigars, and pick up a chocolate if you don't, and we hope to see you there on the Platinum Patio!

Nearby, there will also be a Hospitality suite at Platinum Ballroom 5 hosted by our friends at the Orange County GOP. Since Convention is in OC, it's only fair that we host a nice welcome for everyone coming in, and this should be an excellent networking opportunity to meet members of the county party and say hi to our OCGOP-endorsed candidates that will be present. Check Out These Special Events!

We had an unforgettable Pints and Politics mixer with the Greater Irvine Republicans last week, and we look forward to continue the spirit of collaboration and support our friends and fellow Republicans at GIR.

The April GIR dinner will be on April 27th, and will feature two candidates for California Governor, Shawn Collins and Jenny Rae Le Roux. Get a chance to network with fellow activists and grassroots leaders in Greater Irvine. We will highly encourage you to sign up for the event, and become a member if you live at or near Irvine. In addition to collaborating with likeminded political groups, we also encourage our members to stay involved in the broader young professional community as well, and find ways to give back and support local charitable efforts.
