John,

My bipartisan legislation to ban members of Congress and their spouses from trading individual stocks continues to gain the support and attention it deserves. Pundits doubted our bill would ever gain momentum when we introduced it in 2020, but support for this commonsense reform is clear in both Congress – we just added three more cosponsors this week – and the public.

My bill would prove to the American people their lawmakers work for our constituents’ interests, not our personal portfolios. Will you invest in our campaign today so I can continue advocating for this reform in Congress?

Americans should be able to trust that their representatives act in the best interest of the people. When lawmakers are allowed to buy, sell, and trade personal stocks with privileged information, that trust erodes.

Our constituents should always come first, and my bill would affirm public trust in our government. With your support, I can continue defending ethical governance in Congress. Will you contribute to our campaign today?

Thank you, sincerely,
