It’s been less than six months since Senate President Jake Chapman said he wanted to jail teachers and librarians, friend. (We can’t believe it either.)

From signing an unfair flat tax that only benefits the super-wealthy to banning transgender girls from playing sports, Kim Reynolds and Iowa Republicans have put our state in reverse.

We’re working hard to elect more Democrats to the Iowa House and Senate who will lift up working families and improve the lives of Iowans in every corner of the state.

But we can’t do it without the support of folks like you, friend. Can we count on you to become a $25 monthly donor to help us win more seats, amplify our message, and move Iowa forward again? [[link removed]]

Democrats in the Iowa Legislature have fought back against bills that would have put cameras in our classrooms, jailed educators, and shut down rural public schools. They’ve also proposed bills and amendments that would assure health care for pregnant Iowans and hold private schools accountable – most of them killed along party lines.

Imagine the things we could accomplish if Iowa Democrats ran the show – world-class public schools, guaranteed postpartum care, stronger tenant rights for mobile home residents, legal cannabis, and more.

Every dollar helps move the needle toward making Iowa a welcoming place once again. Even a few bucks a month can mean the difference between a win and a loss. [[link removed]]

Are you in, friend?
