An essential part of Mercy Corps’ mission is to help communities recover
in the wake of climate-driven disasters and become more resilient to
future climate emergencies. In Kenya, Somalia, and Ethiopia for example,
we’re providing cash assistance, food, water, and other essential items to
the millions of families affected by the drought crisis. And to build
strength for the future, we’re partnering with communities across the
region to construct improved irrigation systems and equip farmers with
more climate-resilient seeds and farming techniques.

As we continue our efforts to respond to the impacts
