Governor DeWine Appoints McGrath to?Tenth District Court of Appeals
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)?Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Keith McGrath to the Tenth District Court of Appeals.
McGrath, of Columbus, will assume office on April 27, 2022 and will be taking the seat formerly held by Judge Susan Brown, who retired.?McGrath is running for election in November of 2022 to retain the seat.
He began his career in law in 1993 as an assistant city prosecutor for the City of Columbus. Following that, McGrath traveled to Washington D.C. where he was a contract attorney for over three years at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering.
Most recently, he has been working as a senior assistant prosecutor for the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office, where he has been employed the last 20 years.?
McGrath served in the United States Coast Guard from 1984 until his honorable discharge in 1987. He attended the United States Coast Guard Academy and received his law degree from The Ohio State University's College of Law, and undergraduate degree from Marshall University.
He currently is a mentor for The Supreme Court of Ohio's Lawyer to Lawyer Mentoring Program and is a member of the Charity Newsies.?
