Last week, Ron DeSantis chose to abandon the constitutional process and redraw Florida’s congressional maps behind closed doors, erasing Black and Brown Floridians from the electoral process.
This is one of the key hallmarks of authoritarianism.
As Ron DeSantis continues to delegitimize institutions to the point where people don't trust them any longer, more and more Floridians will begin to look for leadership from a single figure, rather than the Constitution.
In Ron DeSantis’ version of this fantasy, he is this figure. And he wants to be president?
Annette is the only candidate that can win back the Hispanic vote and stop Ron DeSantis’ authoritarian overreach. This administration needs to be voted out of office and Annette is the perfect candidate to do it, John.
