Team -- Michigan’s latest economic numbers were released and it’s good news.

Thanks to the strong leadership of Governor Whitmer, Michigan has added jobs for 11 straight months in a row. Unemployment is at a pandemic-low and we’re growing our economy. 

Governor Whitmer and her team are working hard to get people back to work, lower costs, and make investments in areas that matter to families, communities, and small businesses. 

Michigan Democrats are willing to reach across the aisle to put in the work to grow our economy, but sometimes, you can only reach too far. While Democrats are focused on real solutions that help real people, the GOP wants to raise taxes and destroy programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act.

We have to stop Republicans from playing games with people’s livelihoods, and the best way for us to do that is to help Democrats win up and down the ballot this November.
