Last chance to double your impact for farm animals!

Dear friend,

Today is your last chance to make an urgent gift to support our Emergency Animal Rescue Fund and have your contribution matched-dollar for dollar-up to a total of $30,000.

We never know when a farm animal in crisis will need our help, but because of dedicated friends like you, we can answer the call whenever possible. More than that, your generosity ensures we can continue fulfilling the promise of sanctuary day after day, and year after year. I cannot thank you enough for that. Here are just a few of the rescues that people like you made possible.

Farm Sanctuary gave Mickey sheep the strength to be himself again. Mickey was born with mobility issues on a small farm in New York. When even the most mild-mannered sheep on Mickey's farm started rejecting him because he couldn't keep up with the flock, Mickey isolated himself-and his bright, playful spirit disappeared.

His guardians knew this rejection could be devastating for Mickey's physical and mental well-being in the long term-so they gave us a call.

Most sheep farmed for meat in the United States are killed between six and eight months old, and an injured lamb like Mickey would likely have been slaughtered much earlier than that. But at Farm Sanctuary, Mickey had the chance to heal.

With a little compassion and care-along with a regimen of casts, splints, and physical therapy-Mickey grew stronger and brighter. While he once struggled to stand, he built up strength to run and play. Sadly, Mickey recently passed from other health issues; we miss his sweet and joyful spirit but feel grateful that he knew peace and joy at Sanctuary.

Over nine billion chickens are killed for meat in the U.S. every year. Juniper and her friends escaped this fate after surviving a tornado that demolished the factory farm where they lived.

Because of your kindhearted support, we were able to give these resilient chickens a place to heal in Sanctuary. Today, they're making the most of their second chance-and enjoying the opportunity to explore, dust bathe, and just be chickens.

Aggie and Paula each came to Sanctuary alone and afraid. Then they found each other.

These two cows had very different stories. Paula, the first to arrive at Farm Sanctuary, was raised for dairy and had suffered a severe injury to her eye that left her partially blind. Aggie, on the other hand, had grown up with a loving guardian-but when her guardian passed, Aggie needed a new home.

Despite their differences, both Aggie and Paula were in desperate need of a friend to show them they could find strength, purpose, and healing.

That's exactly what they found in each other. Today, the pair is inseparable-all because supporters like you believed they deserved a second chance to live fulfilling lives.

It is only a matter of time before Farm Sanctuary receives the next call about farm animals like Mickey, Aggie, Paula, or Juniper who are in urgent need of rescue-and your support truly makes all the difference in our ability to respond

Please, make an urgent gift to Farm Sanctuary and it will be matched, dollar for dollar-up to a total of $30,000-to help us rescue animals in need, care for our Sanctuary residents, and fight to end cruelty to all farm animals.
