FRC's Lasting Impact Starts with You!

Dear John,

In his 1989 farewell address to the nation, President Ronald Reagan described America in this way: "still a beacon, still a magnet for all who must have freedom..."

For generations, America has been a beacon of hope to the world, especially for those longing to live out their faith without fear of persecution and government retribution. Our God-given right to the free exercise of religion recognized in the First Amendment is something many journeyed to America to attain and what millions in other nations only dream of.

"We've got to do a better job of getting across that America is freedom -- freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise," Reagan said. "And freedom is special and rare. It's fragile; it needs protection."

Thirty-three years later, President Reagan's words still ring true. And if we don't stand up now, we could effectively lose those freedoms.

FRC was created to be your voice in the halls of government. We stand on your behalf to advance faith, family, and freedom -- both in the here and now and for future generations. But we can only do it with your ongoing support!

Will you prayerfully consider a gift today? Your faithful membership sustains our work in protecting the freedoms we cherish in this country.

Hostility towards religious freedom has been growing in recent years.

FRC has highlighted the stories of Christian photographers, florists, and bakers who declined to use their artistic talents to celebrate same-sex marriages; faith-based adoption agencies that faced the choice of either violating their consciences or closing their doors; and military service members and chaplains punished for upholding the biblical view that marriage is between one man and one woman.

The far Left's push for special privileges for sexual orientation and gender identity has led to a campaign of silencing conservative and biblical viewpoints.

So, while we love all people, we don't embrace all ideas.

Time and time again, the LGBT agenda has proven to be incompatible with parental rights, privacy, and religious freedom.

We must remain vigilant or this progressive agenda could make in-roads in some of the most unlikely places if we are not careful.

When we stand up together, we can make a difference!

That's why our team at FRC is committed to vastly expanding our broadcasting capabilities so we can educate and engage more conservatives across the nation to protect religious freedom and biblical principles no matter where the cultural winds blow.

Will you give your best gift to accelerate our vital mission?

The leftist drift we see by many politicians and policymakers is, admittedly, downstream from the culture. But we can turn this tide through prayer, standing for biblical values, and partnership.

John, I can't stress this enough -- the answers to the issues in our nation cannot be found in Washington, D.C. And while FRC is headquartered in the heart of our nation's capital to speak truth to elected officials and promote public policies from a biblical worldview, a lasting impact will ultimately be made by you, your church, and your community.

Freedom is special and rare and must be protected. If we are rooted in the Word of God, we can be confident because Scripture tells us Truth will prevail.

Together, let's continue working to build a culture that embraces biblical principles and protects religious freedom TODAY and for generations to come.
