Wisconsin Supreme Court Selects Legislative Maps
The Wisconsin Supreme Court selected legislative maps submitted by the Wisconsin Legislature in a 4-3 decision. The Wisconsin Supreme Court was required to review its March 2022 decision after the U.S. Supreme Court determined the maps submitted by Governor Evers, and selected by the Wisconsin Supreme Court, were racially gerrymandered, and violated the Constitution’s equal protection guarantees.

WILL Opposes State Rule to Regulate Pools at Rental Properties
WILL submitted comment, Friday, opposing a rule proposal from the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) to regulate pools at short-term rental properties in Wisconsin. The state agency intends to blanket Wisconsin’s short-term rental properties in regulations and licensing requirements if pools and hot tubs are available to renters.

The 2021-22 legislative session was among the most consequential in WILL's 11 year history. WILL's policy team worked with lawmakers to pass 7 education reform bills that create more transparency of school funding, empower parents, and expand educational options across the state.
In addition, WILL's policy team also worked with lawmakers on crafting election integrity reforms that were highlighted in WILL's Review of the 2020 Election.
