From bison to bumblebees.

We’re closer than ever to seeing the bipartisan Recovering America’s Wildlife Act become law after it passed a Senate committee, folks. Just take a look at what local New Mexico paper Carlsbad Current-Argus had to say:

Funds on the way for New Mexico's endangered species through US Senate bill, grants

We’ve seen a lot of momentum lately behind this bill I’m co-sponsoring alongside Senator Roy Blunt. That’s because folks on both sides of the aisle know the importance of conserving our wildlife for generations to come.

The Recovering America’s Wildlife Act will fund conservation efforts for more than 12,000 species of wildlife and plants — from bison to bumblebees. Enacting this legislation will ensure we treat the symptoms of climate change AND enact key wildlife protections to prevent species from ever being listed as endangered.

But we must act quickly.

As the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act heads to the Senate floor, we need to keep up this momentum. Can you add your name right now to show your support for this critical bill?
