John,

Last week's shooting on the New York subway in Brooklyn was yet another
terrifying reminder of how urgently we need action to prevent gun violence
in our country.

In the next couple of months, the Supreme Court is expected to announce
their decision in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen. If
the court strikes down New York’s critical gun safety law, that could mean
more people with more guns in high density places like the subway.

People should not have to fear getting shot while commuting to work or
school, meeting friends, or running errands—but too many of our leaders
continue to fail us by refusing to take action. That's why Moms Demand
Action and Students Demand Action volunteers are organizing in their
communities every single day calling on lawmakers to take action to end
gun violence—and we need your help.

As a movement of millions, we rely on grassroots supporters like you
coming together to fuel our work to end gun violence. [ [link removed] ]Rush your
