Since Pennsylvania’s redistricting process was finalized earlier this year, experts from FiveThirtyEight to Sabato’s Crystal Ball to the Cook Political Report have been calling my district a total toss-up.

That means that if the election were held today, I would have a 50/50 shot at holding my seat — and with control of the House on the line, we can’t afford to leave anything to chance. I’m asking you to chip in $5 today to ensure I have the resources to stand up to extremism and stay in Congress fighting for American families and workers.

Republicans have made it clear that I am a top target in the midterm elections. I am on the National Republican Campaign Committee’s “offensive target” list and Republican groups are spending big on attack ads against me. What’s more, my opponent is a self-funding millionaire who is campaigning with dangerous extremists and will do whatever it takes to defeat me.

There’s too much at stake to fall behind on a single fundraising goal. Can I count on you to chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can spare right away to ensure we can take on any Republican attack that comes our way?
