In the past month alone, Barbara and her colleagues passed the MORE Act through the House to legalize cannabis federally and level the playing field for the Black and brown communities most impacted by the failed War on Drugs.

Barbara voted to pass a relief bill to provide critical funding for restaurants and other small businesses hit hard by the pandemic, and cap the out-of-pocket cost of insulin so no one has to cut back, skip, or ration doses of the life-saving drug any longer.

She and her progressive colleagues are also pushing the Biden administration to not just delay the resumption of student loan payments, but cancel student debt once and for all.
