The Trevor Project

Happy National Volunteer Week, Friend

I’m the CEO and executive director of The Trevor Project now, but I started my journey a decade ago as a Lifeline volunteer. I still take Lifeline shifts, and a few months ago I completed our Digital training so I could take chat and text conversations as well.

When Trevor volunteers show up for their shifts, it is a profound commitment of their emotions and time — thank you to all of our volunteer crisis counselors. Over the past year, volunteers have supported more than 200,000 contacts across our 24/7 lifeline, text and chat crisis services. Quite simply, we could not accomplish our life-saving work without our volunteers.

Celebrate National Volunteer Week with us, Friend!

One Trevor Project volunteer can help 100 young people who wouldn’t otherwise have support.

Send a thank you note to our volunteers!
