We’re going
to throw it back to 2009 for a moment, so you can remember what the world
was like the last time the federal minimum wage was increased.

In 2009, Facebook launched FarmVille, which soon amassed 83 million users.

Low-rise jeans and velvet track suits were all the rage.

Sony sold 12 million floppy disks to computer users across the country.

The Black Eyed Peas “I Gotta Feeling” was the top song of the year.

And the federal government raised the minimum wage from $6.55/hr to
$7.25/hr.

As you can see, our world has changed a lot since then. Yet, despite the
clear bipartisan call among working families for an increase in the
minimum wage, it still hasn’t changed in 12 years.

first elected to Congress. Can you support this fight by making a donation
of $3 or more today?

Increasing the minimum wage is long past due. The 32 million Americans who
are making minimum wage deserve a raise.

Our world has changed (when’s the last time you saw a floppy disk?) and
it’s time our wages catch up to our growing economy.

[ [link removed] ]Chip in what you can today to help support the fight to increase the
minimum wage to $15/hr today.

In solidarity,

Team Ro
