John -- prescription drug prices are way too high.

Fortunately, there’s growing momentum for efforts in Congress to cap drug costs and lower prices for Americans. Last month, the Senate held a hearing on prescription drug prices and I see a path forward for pricing reforms:

✔️ Allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices
✔️ Cap insulin at $35 per prescription
✔️ Cap out-of-pocket costs for seniors
✔️ Penalize drug companies that raise prices higher than the rate of inflation

It’s time to get this done, John.
