The Cook Political Report just joined The New York Times in naming me one of the most endangered Democratic senators in the entire country.

Losing Nevada means losing our Senate majority, and as of 1 p.m., I'm falling short of our goals for April. If I miss fundraising goals like this, the GOP will take it as a sign that I'm losing momentum – and Mitch McConnell's allies will double down on the $4 million they've already spent on attack ads to defeat me. 

That's why I'm personally asking you to help me raise another $5,000 before midnight. I'm 87% of the way there, so $5 or even $25 will make a world of difference in closing the gap.

The stakes of my race couldn't be higher, John: Senate control hinges on Nevada – and Mitch McConnell sees this seat as the one that flips our Senate red. This is one of those moments when Democrats need to dig deep, because my campaign is being outspent and the latest polls show me down – and if the election were held today, losing to my opponent.

A winning campaign in Nevada is built on small-dollar donors – grassroots Democrats like you, John. So whether or not we meet this goal, protect this seat and defend our Senate majority really depends on you.

With Senate control on the line and the GOP coming after me with everything they've got, every dollar will be the difference between winning and losing in November. We can't wake up after Election Day wishing we'd done more.
