Spring is just beginning, and I know it feels like November is in the distant future. But with a campaign warchest for Mitch McConnell and Rick Scott — the head of the Republicans’ Senate campaign arm — growing larger by the day, they’re already flooding the airwaves with attack ads in battleground states all over the country.
That means that their most right-wing, extreme voices are being constantly elevated, spouting misinformation about our elections and trafficking in dangerous, xenophobic conspiracy theories. That has a real impact on vulnerable communities right now, so it’s crucial that we have the resources to fight back — and defend our slim majority.
