My opponent, Henry Cuellar, claims he’s a Democrat, but his record suggests otherwise.

Let’s take a look back at my opponent’s time in public office:

Back in 2000, Henry Cuellar proudly endorsed George W. Bush.

(He is sitting with his Republican buddies here at the 2006 State of the Union.)

In 2001, he proudly accepted a job working for Rick Perry, and in 2017, he publicly supported him when Donald Trump nominated him to serve as Secretary of the Department of Energy.

Since becoming a Congressman, he’s accepted thousands of dollars from the Koch Brothers’ PACs:

And then in the last Congress, he voted with this guy nearly 70% of the time — including voting to fund his racist border wall.

Oh, and we can’t forget: last year, when taking back the House was Democrats’ top priority, he endorsed and fundraised for Republican John Carter, instead of backing Democrat MJ Hegar — who could’ve flipped that seat.

Henry Cuellar has shown time and again who he truly is. This district voted for Hillary Clinton by 20 points in 2016. He does not share our values, and it is time for him to go.

But I need your help to make sure my campaign has the resources to defeat him and the conservative special interests backing his campaign.

Make a $3 contribution right now to my campaign and bring real Democratic representation to South Texas. I cannot do this alone.

Henry Cuellar has spent over two decades telling us who he really is. It’s time for new leadership that truly represents us.

Let’s go,

Jessica Cisneros, Candidate for Texas’s 28th

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told PCCC members, "The majority of Americans are with us on the policies. Americans support Medicare for All, expanding Social Security benefits, gun reform, debt-free college, and a $15 minimum wage. Bold progressive values are popular EVERYWHERE. Together, we have the people. Together, with your help, we’ll have the votes." Chip in $3 here.
