Dear John,
Did you know 85% of the 400 wealthiest Americans on the Forbes 400 list are white men and they are hoarding and diving head first into their wealth like Scrooge McDuck?

But this isn’t a cartoon, and hoarding wealth is not a joke. Enough is enough. It’s about time we make the uber wealthy pay their fair share of taxes. Can you imagine the world we could ALL have if the billionaires are taxed more fairly? Imagine better child care, health care, education, affordable housing, paid leave, and more.
That’s why we are launching Tax the Patriarchy today.
Here’s what that means:
Decoding the tax code. Everyone should understand the policies and loopholes that are helping the richer get richer.
Framing tax justice as a gender and racial justice issue. Ballooning wealth and income inequality hurts women and people of color the most. Centering women of color in fixing the tax code helps ALL of us.
Advocating for a more equitable tax system. It’s time to tax income from wealth like we tax income from work, tax wealth directly, and tax intergenerational wealth transfers more fairly. Investing revenues from taxing the wealthy will help women and families. We need an economy works for all of us, not just the privileged few.
Join us by figuring out how much YOU can tax the rich with our awesome new tool. [[link removed]]
