It’s only April and this year has been…a lot. To be honest, our team at VSA hasn’t fully recovered from 2020, and the thought of the 2022 midterms is pretty daunting! With the House, Senate, and so many important state-level races on the line this year, we know it can feel overwhelming figuring out how to get back in the game. 

We designed the Midterm Madness program because we wanted to make it feel manageable by focusing on your region – what’s at stake and how you can get involved. To help you navigate that, we just launched our official Midterm Madness hub, where you’ll be able to learn more about your regions, our targets in them, and more ways to get involved right now.

As soon as you sign up, you’ll get plugged into actions you can take right now: From now until the end of the month, we’re working with Vote Riders to help voters in swing states learn about and access voter IDs after extreme anti-voter laws were imposed in their states last year. 

Together, we have already written 16,571 letters to battleground voters, informing them of their state’s voter ID requirements and the paths to accessing appropriate IDs, and April is only halfway over. 

If you’re feeling a little jealous, don’t worry. It’s not too late to join the fun. Vote Riders is hosting one more letter-writing party on Wednesday, April 21st, from 7-8PM ET, where they’ll train you and get you set up to write to voters for the rest of the month.
