Dear John,
Recently, disturbing revelations have come to light regarding the political activity of Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Evidence shows that Ginni Thomas was intimately involved in President Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Yet Justice Thomas has repeatedly refused to recuse himself from ongoing litigation resulting from the January 6th insurrection.
In fact, Justice Thomas was the only Supreme Court justice to vote against the Court’s January ruling that President Trump must turn over important White House records related to the insurrection. It is now clear that at least some of these records directly implicate his wife in potentially criminal activities.
It's time to take action [[link removed]] . We must hold Justice Thomas accountable.
Congress must pass legislation establishing an enforceable code of ethics for the U.S. Supreme Court that is at least as stringent as the judicial code of ethics for lower court judges. There must also be a full investigation into Ginni Thomas's involvement in President Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election, including to what extent Justice Thomas participated in or supported these activities.
Tell Congress you support a full investigation into Justice Thomas and his wife as well as passage of a Supreme Court Code of Ethics to prevent future corruption. [[link removed]]
Congress must act now to prevent Justice Thomas, or any other Supreme Court justice, from abusing their power on the Supreme Court for corrupt conduct or personal gain. Lend your name to the fight to ensure Supreme Court justices are held to a common sense code of ethics. [[link removed]]
Thank you for taking action,
