[To all our AFSP volunteers, we appreciate you!]([link removed])

It’s National Volunteer Appreciation Week – a moment that always feels particularly special to us because we couldn’t accomplish all we do without the support of our volunteers, many of whom have a personal connection to the cause. Their passion, support, and hard work makes all the difference and provides the backbone of community that is felt by more and more people every day.

This year, we’ve asked five of our Area Directors – one from each geographical division of local chapters across the United States – to share a few thoughts about how they feel about our dedicated volunteers. The way they responded reflects the deep backbone and heart of our community, which is made up by people like you. You can read their thoughts [here]([link removed]).

We’ve also created a [special webpage]([link removed]) for both our staff and volunteers to use to share appreciation for each other and spread messages of hope. Highlights include social media graphics, customizable content, and more!

Three cheers for our volunteers!
