John —
In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a contribution to my re-election campaign. Please give me a chance to explain why this request — especially today — is so important to our success.
Here’s the truth:
We have a big deadline coming up at the end of the month. And make no mistake: What we raise this month will determine many of the big budget decisions we have to make heading into the summer months.
I’m sure it’s hard to see the immediate impact. But when your $5 and $10 combines with thousands of others, it allows us to respond to the attack ads flying at us from our opponents, from corporate special interest groups, and from all the dark money groups trying to bring this campaign down.
Because if we want to build the kind of campaign that can take on the entire National Republican establishment and win, it’s going to take lots and lots of donations from folks just like you.
That’s why I’m reaching out today. We still have some time before this deadline and I’m hoping we can turn things around. Because soon, we’ll take stock of this month’s results and make a lot of important spending decisions — decisions that will decide the fate of this campaign.
So with this deadline fast approaching, I’m humbly asking:
If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:
We’re in a great position to win this race. The polls are close and the campaign we’ve built is strong. But the attacks we have yet to face will be unprecedented — and we have to be ready.
Thank you for your ongoing support,
Mark Kelly
