Abortion rights and reproductive freedom are at stake in this race.
This summer, the Supreme Court will hand down an opinion that could overturn or fundamentally weaken Roe v. Wade. The fate of abortion rights will then be up to the states, and Governors will be the ones to defend the right to choose.
That’s why we need pro-choice Governors like Governor Whitmer — who just filed a historic suit to protect abortion access in Michigan should Roe v. Wade fall.
As Pennsylvania’s next Governor, I’ll fight alongside Governor Whitmer to defend abortion. I’ll veto any bill that reaches my desk that undermines the right to choose — and any bill that undermines reproductive rights.
But each and every one of my Republican opponents will sign those bills into law if they win this election.
