On Facebook Live today, April 18, 2022, Citizens Against Government Waste
President Tom Schatz will host a conversation with Senator Steve Daines (R-MT).
The event will take place on Facebook Live at2:00 p.m. EDT.  

 

Senator Steve Daines was elected to the Senate from Montana in 2014 after
serving one term in the House of Representatives, and he was re-elected in
2020.  He is a member of the Senate Finance, Banking, Housing, and Urban
Affairs, Energy and Natural Resources, and Indian Affairs Committees.  Senator
Daines was a CCAGW Taxpayer Hero in 2020 with a 90 percent vote rating and has
a lifetime rating of 90 percent.  Senator Daines graduated from Montana State
University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.  He spent 13
years at Proctor and Gamble, returned to Montana to work in a family
construction business, and before he was elected to Congress, he was Vice
President at RightNow Technologies, a Bozeman-based cloud computing start-up
company.

 

Tom and Senator Daines will discuss taxes, the Keystone XL pipeline, the
budget, and broadband.
