Fellow American, You know me best as the former head football coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the South Carolina Gamecocks. But before I led six different college football programs to bowl games, I served in the military, like my father before me. I love this country. I love our freedom. And I love our way of life. Yet too often, we take America's blessings for granted and forget the supreme sacrifice of our fallen heroes -- men and women in the military who fought and died for our freedom. This year, my friends at the American Veterans Center are again hosting the National Memorial Day Parade...the LARGEST Memorial Day event in America, with more than 5,000 veterans and service members marching in Washington, D.C. Will you help honor America's fallen heroes at this year's National Memorial Day Parade by sending a tax-deductible donation of $25, $50, $75, $150, $250, or more today? |
If you've ever attended, watched on TV, or heard about this parade before, then you know that it is America's most spectacular and beloved Memorial Day celebration. |

Greeting troops at the 2019 Memorial Day Parade |
The National Memorial Day Parade brings together more than 5,000 veterans and service members to march in the event. It welcomes more than 200,000 patriotic Americans to the live event on Constitution Avenue in D.C. And it records and broadcasts this special and exciting ceremony for millions more. But the American Veterans Center can only put on this important event with YOUR help. Please join me in supporting this year's National Memorial Day Parade with your gift of $25, $50, $75, $150, $250, or more today. If you ask me, that's a small price to pay to properly honor those who died defending our country, freedom, and way of life. |
Fellow American, like many Americans, I grew up in a family of military service. My father served in World War II and fought in the Battle of Midway, Iwo Jima, and many of the other major battles in the Pacific. He was one of the lucky ones who returned home, while many of his brothers-in-arms did not. Because of my father's sacrifices and the values he taught me, I joined the Army where I served as an Army Field Artillery Officer. |
