John,
Earlier this month, after DFA members nationwide took action, the House
voted to pass the Marijuana Opportunity, Reinvestment, and Expungement
(MORE) Act.
The bill will decriminalize marijuana at the federal level, and expunge
nonviolent marijuana-related convictions while rebuilding and restoring
communities devastated by the failed War on Drugs.
The War on Drugs is outdated, discriminatory, and destructive, and our
communities deserve better. It’s time for the Senate to act.

The War on Drugs has criminalized people of color, separated families by
incarcerating parents and loved ones, and fueled a dangerous prison
industrial complex.
We need to show the Senate that there’s widespread support for
establishing justice in America by passing marijuana decriminalization.
Help us organize nationwide to build power and push Democrats in the
Senate to act so they’ll step up to the plate and decriminalize marijuana
and expunge non-violent arrest records.

reform!
Thanks for being a part of this movement.
