Growing up Black in the segregated South, I didn't have much – but I had family. And my family instilled in me a strong faith, which has helped me always find hope, even in the darkest moments.
Family and faith are what I treasure on days like today. And as I gather with my friends and family, I'm wishing you and yours the very best.
