Democrat,

As we move closer to the Holiday Season, our New Jersey Democratic State Committee is transitioning our efforts fully into helping our party succeed in the 2020 elections.

The Presidential election year of 2020 is right around the corner, and it has never been more vital for Democrats to come together around our shared vision to take back the White House. We must unite to defeat Donald Trump and also to defend our excellent Congressional delegation. You will be hearing much more from our party in the coming weeks and months about how you can get involved in the 2020 campaign.

The NJDSC Latino Caucus recently held a Votebuilder training session designed to help its members learn how to use the latest technology to run successful campaigns. The event is just one of the many ways our Caucuses are working to get more Democrats engaged in campaigns and elections.

This week Governor Murphy delivered on one of the most unique and exciting campaign promises he made in his election by moving forward with the process of establishing a Public Bank in New Jersey. This innovative idea has the potential to save taxpayers millions of dollars in reduced banking costs while providing capital to small businesses and entrepreneurs right here in our state. We’re excited to see this plan continue to move forward.

Following Cory’s standout performance at the fifth Democratic primary debate this week in Atlanta, Cory 2020 surpassed the 200,000 unique donor threshold needed to qualify for the December DNC debate in Los Angeles. Additionally, since Cory’s closing statement, Cory 2020 has raised nearly $700,000 and had the best 9 hours of fundraising of the campaign to date. At the debate, Cory used his lived experience to differentiate himself in the field and show that he not only has the policy agenda to lift struggling families, but he has the temperament and leadership style needed to unite the party to defeat Donald Trump. To find out how you can be a part of Cory’s grassroots movement to unite our country, visit corybooker.com/get-involved.

Thank you,

Chairman John Currie
