Without any doubt, there is an ongoing effort to push our Catholic Culture out of the public square.

This effort is present in every area of public life, especially in the health care profession.

Catholic Healthcare professionals face a daunting challenge as the secular media, NGO's, and even governments pressure them to go against their Catholic Faith regarding issues such as gender reassignment, abortion, etc.

During the 8th Annual White Mass for Catholic Healthcare professionals, Bishop Joseph Coffey stated in his sermon that just as Christians in China and the Middle East are being martyred for their Faith, so too must Catholic Healthcare professionals in America be willing to face criticism, fines, and possibly even death.

Present at the White Mass was Dr. Gianna Emanuela Molla, the daughter for whom St. Gianna Beretta Molla gave her life. After Holy Mass, she gave a talk regarding the witness of her saintly mother and father.

Together, with the daughter of St. Gianna, in the presence of the relics of St. Gianna, the Catholic Healthcare professionals in attendance renewed their commitment to preserving and protecting human life and upholding the teachings of the Catholic Church in their Medical Profession, at the risk of their jobs, their reputations, and even their lives.
