Recently, we’ve seen the far-right coalesce around my opponent in a full-blown mobilization to flip my seat in an attempt to take back the House. We knew this was coming – even Steve Bannon, Trump’s former advisor, called PA-08 one of the most important races in the country for Republicans.

Newt Gingrich, Steve Bannon, and Mike Pompeo have all endorsed my opponent, and now Kevin McCarthy’s super PAC has also thrown its support behind my extremist opponent.

According to Axios, McCarthy’s strategy is to go on the offensive as soon as possible. His group is sitting on a mountain of cash – $93.5 million on hand as of the end of March. This is virtually unlimited cash reserves that can be used to attack me and my character as they see PA-08 as a keystone for taking back the House.

Not to overstate the point, but McCarthy’s group has only endorsed seven Republicans. Seven. That’s because they know that they only need to flip a few seats to take back the House, and they’re laser-focused on these key seats.

Mine is at the top of their list.

We will persevere, though. We can show them that while they may have special interest and dark money, we have the power of regular people who see what’s at stake and want to protect our health care, our civil freedoms, and our democracy.

So John, if you can, chip in to help us build a campaign strong enough to go up against Kevin McCarthy’s nearly $100 million. We can win this seat, but only if we form a strong coalition of Democrats willing to put in the work. [[link removed]]
