Wisdom from our Easter reflection by Fr. Greg Boyle, S.J. and blessings to you this Easter season.
John,
With all that is happening in the world, it is often difficult to be present in the moment. We tend to live in the future, anticipating problems facing both people and planet, and hoping for solutions. In doing so, we miss the "now."
Fr. Boyle's reflection points out that the resurrection of Christ calls us to be present in the moment—to be saved in the here and now. We do not know what tomorrow brings, but if we stay grounded in the love of Christ and the joy of the resurrection in each moment we can "live in the forever".
As we journey through the Easter season may our here and now be filled with acts of justice, acts of love, and the joy of salvation. Happy Easter!
Peace,
Christopher G. Kerr
