My team told me today that hundreds of supporters have stepped up to be Founding Members of our campaign, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

This campaign is about building a Maryland where folks from all walks of life have the opportunity to succeed.

When I entered public service, it was because I wanted to give back. I’ve taken on and won big fights for workers as Maryland’s Labor Secretary and U.S. Labor Secretary in the Obama Administration – and I will continue that fight as Maryland’s next governor.

But I know that this isn’t a fight I can take on alone.

The only way we can flip Maryland from red to blue is with a powerful grassroots team.
