Lesko Opposes Renewing Disney’s Copyright

Image

I joined Congressman Jim Banks (R-IN-03) in a letter to the CEO of Disney to let him know that we will oppose the renewal of Disney’s copyright on Mickey Mouse because they want to impose their “woke” agenda on our young, impressionable kids!

Lesko Stands Up for the Sanctity of Life

Image

I joined Congressman Ralph Norman (R-SC-05) in a letter to President Biden to express opposition to his anti-life policies in his budget request. The majority of Americans are in favor of restricting abortion procedures and are opposed to taxpayer-funded abortions!

GET THE FACTS: Inflation Hits a Four-Decade High in March

Inflation has hit 8.5%—the highest rate in more than 40 years. Month after month, President Biden’s economic policies and the Democrats’ wasteful spending agenda are hurting Arizonans at the gas pump and the grocery store. For most Americans, this rise in inflation means that sacrifices must be made to keep a roof over their head and food on the table. In addition, nominal wages have only risen by 5.6%. The Democrats’ policies are hurting every American as prices are rising way faster than wages.

Around the District

Austin from my office attended the Sun City West Senior Expo this week and let constituents know about all of the services that my office offers.

Casework Highlight

A constituent reached out to our office for assistance with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). He had recently retired and completed all of the necessary steps but was not receiving his earned retirement check. We reached out to OPM and were able to correct the issue. He started receiving his monthly retirement check and received his backpay.

Encouraging Story

I am pleased to share this story about two teens from the Valley. While on vacation, Zachary Haugen and Jake Watson saved two girls from drowning in San Diego, California. The two teens said that the girls were struggling to stay above water. Thankfully, Haugen and Watson stepped in to save the girls’ lives. They have been awarded the prestigious Carnegie Medal for their act of bravery. I am incredibly proud of these young men’s brave actions.
