Do you know what that number means, team?

It might look like a random number, but it’s one that means a lot to me. It’s the average amount that a supporter like you donates to an email like this.

I’m really proud of that number, you know. Because when enough people like you give $25.33 — or a little more, or even a little less — it adds up, and makes an enormous difference.

$72.3 million

Now this is a number that worries me. Mitch McConnell’s super PAC reported this week that they raised $27 million last quarter, and have over $72.3 million in the bank — millions that will go straight to attacking me and other Democrats in tough Senate races.

McConnell’s PAC says they’re preparing to “make major investments” in New Hampshire. And that’s on top of the $7.5 million of attack ads that McConnell's network has already hit me with

$72.3 million is a lot, and taking on the GOP’s corporate special interests can sometimes feel like David versus Goliath. But this grassroots team has always stepped up when we need it most. So please, can you donate $25.33, or whatever you can, to win this crucial Senate race?
