Hello,
When I graduated law school, my friends were choosing between working on K Street or on Wall Street. I ended up on Bridge Street in White River Junction instead.
I still remember my first-day-of-work jitters. I didn’t know anyone in town, but White River Junction became home. It’s where I started my career, and where I started to raise my family.
I got to know—and fell in love with—Vermont values: self-reliance, mutual support, and cooperation built on trust.
There’s so much to love about Vermont—I could talk about it all day. It’s the honor of my life to represent our state in Congress, and I’m proud to do it the Vermont way.
Now, I’m asking this team to come together to help ensure we keep this seat—and the Senate—in Democratic hands. There’s a lot on the line, and we have a lot of work to do.
That’s why I’m asking, if you can pitch in $15 to this all-important Senate race right away.

I’ve seen Vermonters come together to solve problems. We focus on solutions, not who gets credit. That’s the Vermont way. That’s how I’ve gotten things done as Vermont’s congressman, and how I’ll get things done if I’m elected to the Senate.
Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republicans see things differently, to say the least. They divide people for their own political gain instead of working across the aisle to get things done for working families. They’re fighting for failure, and that won’t change if they retake the majority.
I’m focused on ensuring Vermont’s working families can get quality, affordable childcare and paid family leave, passing a Green New Deal, lowering health care and prescription drug costs, enshrining the right to abortion, protecting voting rights and our democracy, and delivering results.
But we have to work together to win this race.
Thanks so much,
Peter
