This morning we were looking at how our fundraising has been doing this
month.

We won't resort to sky-is-falling tactics to try and scare you into
contributing. But we do believe we're all in this together, so we want to
be transparent about the fact we've had a slow start to the month:

A small slowdown can be expected after a big end-of-quarter fundraising
push like we had in March. But with our primary election getting closer,
we can't afford to be falling short of our fundraising goals — especially
since we're competing against a corporate-backed Democrat who will receive
millions to weaken our campaign.

Worrying about our fundraising is the last thing we want to put on Cori's
plate. That's why we rely on grassroots donations from folks like you to
power our work so we don't have to ask Cori or our team members to take
their focus off of legislating and organizing and spend time on
fundraising.
