Hi
John,
Now, more than ever, the breast cancer industry needs a strong, independent watchdog to make sure that the needs of people living with and at risk of breast cancer are being met.
Breast Cancer Action continues to be that watchdog, and we will keep doing so until all communities can thrive because they are healthy, liberated, and free from the breast cancer crisis.
And we need your support.

Right now, BCAction is mobilizing our community of grassroots activists to hold our leaders accountable by:
- Urging them to pass the Future Generations Protection Act, the most comprehensive anti-oil and gas bill ever put forth, which will ban fracking across the country, ban new fossil fuel plants, and put an end to oil and gas exports.
- Encouraging the finalization and passage of the Scientific Integrity Act, which will protect federal science by taking political interference and lobbying out of leadership decision-making, allowing scientists to speak openly with the public about their work.
- Pushing for the passage of the Lymphedema Treatment Act, which will change Medicare law to cover doctor prescribed compression supplies and other devices.
We are also training a new generation of activists through our Internship program. This opportunity is for students and others who are dedicating themselves to grassroots activism and who will play invaluable roles in creating our flagship Think Before You Pink® campaign, as well as other campaigns throughout the year. They are a necessary part of our watchdog work and we are committed to paying them for their labor.
Your support will help us to provide our interns with stipends that will allow them to fully immerse themselves in this challenging but thought-provoking work.
And as always, your support uplifts Breast Cancer Action’s watchdog, education, advocacy, and activist work to address and end breast cancer through a health justice lens. THANK YOU for your part in this work.
In solidarity,
