Just four days into April, I was already ready to call it a great month. It's hard to beat the feeling of the Jayhawks winning a NCAA championship.

But it felt pretty amazing to wake up this morning and find out that you helped us beat yet another mid-month fundraising goal.

Thanks to you, we're in better shape than ever to keep Kansas moving forward.

The bad news, though, is that we're still under attack from our opponent and his extreme allies who just keep spending more on ads meant to deceive Kansans. They launched yet another one just over a week ago, and they're not stopping.

That's why this race is shaping up to be one of the most competitive governor's races in the country, and why it's now rated a "toss-up."

I know we can win with your help, but we have to keep our momentum going to finish April strong.
