Just one week following the devastating loss of his son, Rep. Jamie Raskin
was facing down an angry insurrectionist mob as they stormed the U.S.
Capitol in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election – with his daughter by
his side. Just weeks later, Rep. Raskin would go on to serve as the lead
impeachment manager, arguing passionately before the Senate about the need
to convict Donald Trump of the impeachment charges that were passed by the
House.

It's hard to comprehend how Rep. Raskin could summon such courage and
strength amid great personal tragedy, but we’re better as a nation because

American Promise for a virtual event on Wednesday, April 20 at 8:00 PM ET
where Rep. Raskin will discuss his new book, Unthinkable: Trauma, Truth,
