The House and Senate were out of session this week, making it a slow few days on Capitol Hill.

That being said, there are a couple important updates we want to share with you:



- Executive Director Jessica Anderson joined Sean Duffy on Fox Business to discuss Biden’s unpopularity.
- Inflation continues to skyrocket, reaching 40-year high of 8.5%.
- And the Biden regime is trying to change the definition of “sex” in Title IX, and the consequences are massive.

She discussed why Biden’s approval ratings are so low and the message for parents leading into the 2022 midterms.

It’s Getting Worse: Inflation
This week, the Department of Labor released the newest inflation numbers <[link removed]> for the month of March. News flash… it’s out-of-control.

Here are some terrifying stats:



- The Consumer Price Index (CPI), which is the standard measure of inflation, jumped to 8.5% from a year ago. That means you’re spending on average 8.5% more on goods than you were at this point last year.
- Meanwhile, wages have only increased 5.6% over the last year. Americans are losing their purchasing power under Biden’s watch. This is a hidden tax on the working class!
- Inflation increased by 1.2% in the month of March alone. For context, inflation in 2019 increased by 1.81% over the ENTIRE YEAR.
Some things the Biden Administration could do to ease inflation:



- Unfortunately the Biden Administration doesn’t have a time machine. If they did, they could’ve reversed the Left’s disastrous spending policies. In Biden’s first year in office, the federal government spent nearly $7 TRILLION, which has driven the historic inflation we see today.
- Reverse Biden’s anti-energy policies. Biden and his Green New Deal deputies have canceled the Keystone XL pipeline, paused oil & gas leasing on federal lands, terminated oil production in Alaska's Arctic region, increased overbearing regulations, installed climate zealots throughout the federal government, and more. By reversing these policies and unleashing American energy, Americans will pay less for their energy and inflation will decrease.
- Reduce regulations across the board. Americans need more supply of everyday essentials like food. Cutting regulations drastically will allow businesses to be more efficient. That will increase supply and ease the price pains Americans are facing today.
Biden’s Redefining of Sex and Gender
The Department of Education is set to soon release a major rule change to Title IX.

As you may know, Title IX prohibits discriminiation based on sex in any educational institution that directly or indirectly recieves Federal funding (the vast majority of schools/universities).

Now, Biden and his radicals in the Education Department want to change the definition of “sex” in Title IX to include sex stereotypes, sex-related characteristics (including intersex traits), pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

The consequences are profound:



- Women will lose out on athletic scholarships. This rule change will require schools and universities to allow men who identify as female to compete in women’s sports. Women’s sports will be crushed and women will lose countless scholarship opportunities to biological men.
- Hurts women’s long-term professional opportunities. One study revealed that 94% of senior female executives <[link removed]> played competitive sports. 43% of NCAA <[link removed]> student athletes do not receive scholarships. By allowing males to compete in women’s sports, it doesn’t just impact their scholarships, but their opportunity to get on the playing field in the first place. This will hurt women in the long run.
- Deprives girls and boys of privacy and safety. Men who identify as women will be allowed to access women’s locker rooms, dorm rooms, bathrooms, overnight accommodations, and any other sex-segregated space. And vice-versa.

The Left has been waging a war to change the meaning of Sex and Gender. Nancy Pelosi changed the House rules to remove all gendered words. She won’t say grandmother, uncle, niece, or brother-in-law.

If the Left can convince America that there is such a thing as a pregnant male, then they’ll be able to convince the populace of anything.

They’ll redefine any idea, policy, or agenda:


- “Free Speech” will mean “accepted view”
- “Equality” will mean “discriminating against the right people.”
- “God-given Rights” will mean “government-issued permissions.”



It’s important that we stand our ground, and not let the Left redefine all of America.

Once Biden’s new rule on sex and gender is officially released to the Federal Register, any American has the opportunity to submit a public comment for at least 30 days. Sometimes, enough public backlash can tank a rule change. If not, comments submitted can provide more hurdles for the Left to overcome in court.
