Weekly Roundup
A Solemn but Joyous Easter to
YOU!
As we remember this Friday, our Lord's sacrifice and death,
we look forward in a few days to his glorious resurrection.
"Christ is Risen!" "He is risen indeed!" The joy-fuel and
triumphant traditional Orthodox Easter Sunday greeting would have been
instantly recognised by our Anglo-Saxon ancestors more than a thousand
years ago. And it still speaks to and for all Christians as we
celebrate the Resurrection.
Easter focuses the mind of the theme of Rebirth, reminding us that
even the darkest of dark times pass for those with Faith.
This message of Hope is surely needed more now than ever, so we
urge you to smile and be of good heart as you remind those around you
of the special magic of an English Easter. God bless you and yours
this Easter weekend!

£650,000 Wasted on Axed LGBTQ
Summit
LGBTQ+ lobby group Stonewall has been accused of 'holding No. 10 to
ransom' after staging a mass boycott of an LGBTQ international
conference laid on by the supposedly Conservative government.
The Safe To Be Me summit was left in tatters when more than 100
LGBTQ+ and HIV groups pulled out of the three-day event - which cost
£650,000 of taxpayers' money.
