I am so pleased to share that we made a lot of progress today on our $10,000 mid-month goal. We're over halfway there - thank you! - but we still have a bit to go to close the gap.
The other day I was asked: How do you plan on reflecting the needs of all voters – not just Democrats – in the governor's office?
My answer: By focusing on the issues that help people – not politics.
Oregon faces major challenges, and we need a governor who's shown the ability to get tough things done. I started my career at Oregon Food Bank. I traveled around the state listening to Oregonians about why they needed to access emergency food. It wasn't just about food. It was about low wages, the cost of housing, and the burden of medical debt. These stories have been my guiding light ever since.
Right, left or center, Oregonians want the same things - good jobs, good schools, a healthy environment. That's why I've focused on delivering results to make life better for Oregonians.
I believe that when every part of Oregon is successful, it's good for all of us. As Governor, I'm going to do a lot of listening, and I'll get out of Salem every chance I can to sit with Oregonians and solve our problems together.
That is why your donation matters. It boosts our campaign and helps us get over the finish line to get to the REAL WORK.
